As we reflect on 2024, I’m filled with gratitude for the many ways our community has come together to support the vision of housing that is affordable, stable, and rooted in place. This past year, Big River Community Land Trust made significant strides—not just in laying the groundwork for new homes, but in strengthening the systems and relationships that make lasting impact possible.

We spent much of this year out in the community—meeting with local businesses, presenting to policymakers, and connecting with nonprofit and industry leaders who share our mission. These conversations have helped us better understand the needs of our neighbors and build the momentum required to bring real solutions to life.

Our team has been working hard to create internal systems and policies that will carry our mission forward with integrity and efficiency. We’re putting the structures in place to ensure we can grow while staying grounded in our core values: community stewardship, affordability, and sustainability.

Whether it’s creating tools to better track our impact, improving transparency in our operations, or building infrastructure for future developments, we are laying a strong foundation for years ahead.
