Tucker Road House

Built on a piece of land gifted to us by the City of Hood River, this is a brand new 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. It comes in just under 1300 square feet and includes a single-car garage that is ready for an EV charger, a back yard with patio, and solar panels.

To make this work, we teamed up with Simplicity by Haden Homes. They have partnered with other community land trusts around the northwest and have values which closely align with our own. We’ve enjoyed working with them for this first home.

The City of Hood River has been instrumental in Big River CLT getting this first project:

“We are excited to see Big River moving forward with their first community land trust project,” stated Hood River Mayor Paul Blackburn. “By creating more affordable housing, they are adding another piece to the affordable housing puzzle. We are thankful to have them here in the community, and glad we could support this project.”

The home was completed in December 2025 and we are currently working with a buyer to purchase the home.
