The best part though is we will be selling this home for less than $360,000! That’s half the current median sale price for a market rate home in Hood River.
To make this work, we are teaming up with Simplicity by Haden Homes. They have partnered with other community land trusts around the northwest and have values which closely align with our own. We’re looking forward to working with them for this first home.
The City of Hood River has been instrumental in Big River CLT getting this first project, selling the parcel on Tucker Road to the land trust for a total of one dollar.

This project is due to break ground soon with a goal to be ready to sell to a qualified buyer in summer 2025.
